    SIKAP MASYARAKAT TERHADAP ARUS INFORMASI DI MASA PANDEMI COVID 19: KEGIATAN PENYULUHAN KEPADA PERSATUAN WANITA DARUSSALAM (PWD)

    The Covid19 pandemic that has hit the entire world since March 2020 provides various aspects of people's lives: economic, social, behavior, and life habits. One aspect that often occurs is the flood of information about a pandemic, especially in the early days of the virus outbreak. This community service aims to provide understanding in responding to the flood of information during the pandemic to the public, especially the women at the Persatuan Wanita Darussalam (PWD) in Darussalam 3 Residential, Ngemplak, Sleman. The method used in community service is by observing the subject, providing online counseling using the zoom meeting application by utilizing the RT / RW Net in the housing and followed by follow-up monitoring in the form of post-extension monitoring. The result of this service activity is that the community, especially, gets learning and understanding how to deal with the flood of information during the pandemic, especially in filtering real and false information (hoax)

    Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) telah menjadi kebutuhan di semua aspek kehidupan dan di semua strata usia. Penggunaan TIK sangat diperlukan dan memiliki banyak aspek positif, misalnya di bidang pendidikan, kesehatan, ekonomi, dan lain-lain. Namun aspek negatif dari meluasnya penggunaan TIK juga terjadi, seperti kejahatan di dunia maya, meluasnya konten pornografi, ujaran kebencian, dan lain-lain. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan memberikan sosialisasi dan pendampingan penggunaan TIK di kalangan remaja, khususnya dalam meminimalisir aspek negatif yang ditimbulkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi, sosisaliasasi dan pendampingan dengan dilakukan survey sebelum dan sesudah sosialisasi dan pendampingan. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM ini diharapkan dapat membantu para siswa di SMAK Bentara Wacana Muntilan bersikap bijak dan siap dalam menggunakan TIK secara bertanggung jawab, dengan mengoptimalkan manfaat serta mewaspadai aspek negatif yang ditimbulkan baik secara aspek sosial maupun hukum. Rekomendasi kegiatan ini adalah agar kegiatan sosisalisasi penggunaan TIK diberikan secara berkala bagi para remaja agar pemanfaatan TIK di kalangan siswa dapat berjalan optimal dan terhindar dari aspek negatif yang mungkin terjadi

    Rancangan basis data memegang peran yang sangat penting dalam keberhasilan dankekuatan suatu program aplikasi. Faktor normalisasi rancangan, non duplikasi danoptomalisasi penggunaan memori menjadi faktor utama dalam penilaian suatu basis data.Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun suatu aplikasi antar jemput barang berbasis lokasidengan menggunakan rancangan basis data berbasis waktu nyata (real time database).Metode yang akan digunakan pada peneltian ini adalah dengan merancang databasemenggunakan Unified Modified Language (UML) yaitu dengan membuat Use Case, ClassDiagram untuk menjelaskan struktur dan aktifitas pengguna dan menggunakan FireBaseutnuk membangun real time database serta membuat skenario aktifitas seluruh aktor yangterlibat. Dalam membangun purwarupa aplikasi berbasis lokasi untuk pengantaran danpenjemputan barang dengan lingkup lokasi Yogyakarta menggunakan data lokasi diambildari Google Maps dan menggunakan beberapa libraries dari Aplication ProgrammingInterface (API). Pengujian terhadap aplikasi meliputi pengujian komponen, pengujianintegrasi dan pengujian sistem.     Peningkatan sampah plastik selama masa pandemi Covid-19 sangat signifikan disebabkan oleh peningkatan kemasan plastik dalam rangka mengikuti protokol kesehatan. Sampah plastik tersebut didominasi oleh sampah rumah tangga, oleh karena itu perlu kiranya diberikan pengetahuan tentang proses daur ulang sampah kepada keluarga. Peranan keluarga dalam proses daur ulang sampah plastik sangat penting untuk mengurangi jumlah sampah plastik dan dapat menambah pendapatan bagi keluarga. Dua wilayah dijadikan pembanding dalam mengukur tingkat kesadaran warga terhadap konsep daur ulang sampah plastik.     Students are one of the largest users of technology and the internet in Indonesia. This is due to the need for technology and the internet to support the continuity of lectures. On the other hand, students also have the potential to become victims of cybercrime. This is due to a lack of education about the dangers of crime on the internet. In addition, the level of concern for securing themselves in the internet world is still low. Cybercrimes that are rife in Indonesia include identity theft, online fraud, bullying, and others. Even though many cybercrimes occur, it is not uncommon for many users to publish their identities and the locations they are currently visiting via social media. On the other hand, the internet network is very well documented by students, this makes students often use free wifi which is not safe so it is at risk of cybercrime. Cybercrime will not occur if users have the knowledge, to be vigilant, especially students who should understand more about the negative effects of social media. Thus it is necessary to carry out an analysis related to user awareness on social media. This research was conducted on 100 student respondents from the Institut Sains & Teknologi AKPRIND Yogyakarta to find out how much the level of awareness and vigilance regarding the dangers of cybercrime is based on the categories of social media awareness, awareness of using e-mail and awareness of crime on the internet. This is evidenced by the results of the average level of awareness of IST Akprind students in using social media, which is included in the high category, which is as much as 82%. On the other hand, awareness of using e-mail and internet crimes is included in the sufficient category, namely 57.5% and 61.5% respectively. Therefore, assistance, education, or socialization is needed from the Institutions, Faculties, and study programs for students who do not have good awareness. This is because there are still students who do not have good vigilance when using e-mail and the internet.

    Tracer study results is used to make meaningful decisions regarding study design and practical solutions based on tracer study results. The results of the tracer study conducted at IST AKPRIND provide many benefits because apart from being monitoring, the tracer study also serves as feedback for study programs and institutions to evaluate and support an independent learning curriculum so that graduates can meet the needs of society and the demands of the world of work. Currently, the implementation of tracer studies at IST AKPRIND is carried out by each study program. Data collection and coordination of tracer studies are carried out by the Student Administration Section. Although not optimal, IST AKPRIND continues to make improvements and innovations to obtain the desired data. With the assistance of the tracer study facilitation program which was organized by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, it’s hoped that response rate will increase. The research method used is a quantitative method through the distribution of questionnaires were distributed to graduates throughout 2019 and 2020. The results of the study explain that the competencies possessed by graduates are in accordance with the needs of the world of work and the relevance or linkage between the fields between the fields of science and alumni work is at a close level

    Analisis Karakteristik Lalu Lintas Data Internet Jaringan Seluler Aplikasi Web Video Streaming dan Video Conference

    Internet service is an important thing during the Covid 19 Pandemic to do work from home, especially video conferencing and video streaming applications. This study aims to analyze the quality of internet network services on the Telkomsel cellular network internet network provider for video streaming and video conferencing web application services. Parameters measured on the quality of service are delay, jitter, packet loss. The method used in this research is to take  samples of video streaming and video conferencing applications for one week at different times and captured using the Wireshark application. Data collection was carried out in Mojayan, Klaten, Central Java. The results of this study showed video streaming and video conferencing applications have an average delay value of 37 ms in the "very good" category, jitter 223 ms in the "bad" category and 0% packetloss in the "very good" category. The results of this study indicate that the quality of web video streaming and video conferencing services from the Telkomsel provider at that location is running quite well according to the TIPHON standard.
